While keeping similar features as the A4-8 MKII acoustic amplifier, the A4-58 Acoustic Amplifier features a 4-channel mixer, independent EFX level control on all 4 channels, EQ controls on two channels , Direct Outs (Chan 1 and 2), Stereo Mix Outputs and a Master 3 Band EQ for the Monitor Outputs. Built-in Lithium Iron Phosphate (LifePO4) Battery with Bluetooth and Aux Input. The A4-58 acoustic amplifier also has one High-Z input on Channel 1 and GND lift for the XLR outputs. Packed into the same cabinet and utilized the same 120 watts class-D Amplifiers as the D6-58, combined with A4’s higher efficiency silk-dome tweeter, 5 1/4″ mid and an 8-inch LF driver promotes stunning bass response. the A4-58 retains and fully articulates every nuance of your musicality. The resulting clarity and sonic imaging cuts to all genres creating shimmering acoustic and expressive vocal performances. The end result is uncompromising audio quality that preserves artistic intentions and inspires creativity.
For those uses pedals, a +9V (500mA) output is available to power pedals as the StompMix 4 or the GigMix 4-1.
FREQUENT QUESTIONS:
1. NO sound from Amp with Chan 1, 2 or 3/4 Inputs but Sound with Bluetooth Streaming
Answer – Check the EFX MIX knob position and make sure it is not Full Clockwise (All WET), set Mix Knob to 12 O’clock and re-check.
2. Battery Not Charging
Answer – Make sure Battery Switch is in the “Connected” position.
PROTECTION CIRCUITS AND LIFEPO4 BATTERY SAFETY
The A4-58 utilizes the same Lithium Iron Phosphate (LifePO4) batteries and protection/charging circuits as A6-55 since 2018. LifePO4 batteries are “NOT” the same type as Lithium Ion (Li+) or Lithium Polymer Batteries (LiPO or Li-Poly). We selected Lithium Iron Phosphate (LifePO 4) type of batteries for it’s advantages in safety properties and long service life. LifePO4 is thermally and chemically stable, reliable without the possibility of lithium fires. LifePO4 batteries have long service life, with a shelf life that far exceeds the service life of many other batteries. Not only we enclosed the Batteries in a metal cage, we added many Battery Protection circuits – Over Voltage protection, Thermal Shutdown, Over Charge protection, Over Drain protection. The LifePO4 batteries are used in our products are UL safety approved and MSDS certified.
