While keeping similar input/output features as the A1-4 MKII, the A1-58 Acoustic Amplifier also has one High Z input and GND lift for the XLR output, packed into the same size cabinet as the D6-58. Using the same 120 Watts Class-D amplifiers from D6-58. Retaining the same highly regarded sound as the D6-58. The EAE A1-58’s superb functionality and portability provides unparalleled versatility. When stereo sound or more coverage is needed, the A1-58 is a perfect extension speaker to pair with our D6-58 or the A4-58.
Need more channels or more tone control, add one of our compact digital mixers, the A1-58 is equipped with a +9VDC (500mA) output to power our StompMix 4 or GigMix 4-1 compact digital mixers.
FREQUENT QUESTIONS:
1. NO sound from Amp with Chan 1 or 2/3 Inputs but Sound with Aux Input.
Answer – Check the EFX MIX knob position and make sure it is not Full Clockwise (All WET), set Mix Knob to 12 O’clock and re-check.
2. Battery Not Charging
Answer – Make sure Battery Switch is in the “Connected” position.
PROTECTION CIRCUITS AND LIFEPO4 BATTERY SAFETY
The A4-58 utilizes the same Lithium Iron Phosphate (LifePO4) batteries and protection/charging circuits as A6-55 since 2018. LifePO4 batteries are “NOT” the same type as Lithium Ion (Li+) or Lithium Polymer Batteries (LiPO or Li-Poly). We selected Lithium Iron Phosphate (LifePO 4) type of batteries for it’s advantages in safety properties and long service life. LifePO4 is thermally and chemically stable, reliable without the possibility of lithium fires. LifePO4 batteries have long service life, with a shelf life that far exceeds the service life of many other batteries. Not only we enclosed the Batteries in a metal cage, we added many Battery Protection circuits – Over Voltage protection, Thermal Shutdown, Over Charge protection, Over Drain protection. The LifePO4 batteries are used in our products are UL safety approved and MSDS certified.
